The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!
How does this work?
First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools -- keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
This week mine's one of the featured blogs! Yeeeeks! Finally. Alison and Rachel had sent me a mail saying I was selected as one of the featured bloggers this week. Due to some technical issues (technical 'calamities' are a common thing in my life) I couldn't send my Q&A to Rachel in time. But I guess this will be up there soon too.

When did you start blogging?
As for book blogging, I started it almost 6 months ago. I used to read and share my thoughts previously on other social networks on others’ blogs, but then one day one of my friend suggested me that I should really think about doing the same in my own blog, and here I am!
What is your favorite part of book blogging?
This reading community. I LOVE IT. When it comes to books, I have a very limited number of people in real life who I can talk to. But this book blogging has made me come across so many wonderful likeminded people, it’s like I’ve known them for years! Their suggestions, their complaints, the fangirling, all the rants about books and the ones that are not about books- ALL of it :)
What type of books do you mainly blog about?
I read all kinds of fiction. So my blog features a different variety. But there are ‘phases’ when I prefer a particular genre more. Like for a while now I’m more into YA and NA. So you may find mostly YA or NA books being featured in my recent reviews. I like reading dystopian, mystery and thriller, paranormal, sci-fi, chick-lit, romance and there is a part of me who loves to re-read her favorite classics. I’m thinking of putting my thoughts on classics too, once I manage to finish off the gigantic tbr pile of 2013.
What is your favorite book(s)?
Really? I don’t know hoe to list them here. Like everyone on the book blogging community, my list is so overflowing with names that it’s technically impossible to list them here. Okay, Bronte’s Wuthering Heights has always been one my favorites. Then there is Christmas Carol, my childhood love. Among the recent ones, I like Cinder by Meyer (because the little girl in me squeals with joy when it comes to fairytales). And there is…a lot!
What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?
My answer would the same as the second one. This community. Apart from getting awesome book recommendations, I have grown an awesome number of friends, who reads like me, drools and daydreams over a book the same way I do. My life (which has always been awesome) is almost perfect because of this *weird happy dance*
This Weeks's Question
Bookselling Time: Go to your biggest bookcases. Go to the second shelf from the top and pick out the sixth book from the left. Hardsell that book to us – even if you haven’t read it or if you hated it. (if you don’t have bookcases, don’t have six books on one shelf, etc, pick a book at random)
Okay I pick A Shimmer of Angels by Lisa M Basso. I recently read this one. And I may say the book is very, very refreshing to read. You can see my review on it. It may not be a totally unconventional book (with all the angel and Fallen stuff). But with so many vampire-werewolf books in the line, it’s a nice book for a change. I love the cover. I like the female lead. I like the names, hell I even seem to like the bad guys! So all of you who are into good YA reads, GO GET IT…like NOW. (Plus, there’s a second book coming in the series) .
Now for the Follow Fun!
With GFC going the way of the dodo bird for many bloggers, there is no better time to start following blogs via RSS feed. If you use a reader, it would be great if you followed my RSS directly.
HAPPY #FF! :D
