Heya! I'm back with my monthly wrap up post again. As I have mentioned in my earlier post, I am planning to do it on a monthly basis because of time constraints. So I'll be linking my post with those STS, SP and SS posts that are featured at the end of the months.
In terms of blogging and reading, the year seems to have started off really well for me. It's been a busy month. I have also seen a huge number of movies this month, something I haven't done in a long time. Have a glance at how my month was overall:
The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black (Review to come)
Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge (rtc)
The Madman's Daughter by Megan Shepherd
Angelbound (Angelbound#1) by Christina Bauer
Ruined by Jus Accardo
Freak of Nature (IFICS #1) by Julia Crane
Rival by Lacy Yager
Salt by Danielle Ellison
The Boy From The Woods by Jen Minkman
Mind Games by Kiersten White
Perfect Lies by Kiersten White
The Waking Engine by David Edison (rtc)
Severed: A Tale of Sleepy Hollow by Dax Varley
This Song will Save Your Life by Leila Sales (rtc)
The Death of Ink by M M John (rtc on blog tour date)
Mistwalker by Saundra Mitchell (rtc)
Below are the movies I've watched...since it's a pretty gigantic list, I'm just going to give my ratings along with the titles:
Switch (1991) -3.5
Another Cinderella Story (2008) -3.5
P.S.I Love You (2007) -3.5
Missin Impossible III (2006; re-watch) -4
Just My Luck (2006; re-watch) -3.5
Blue Lagoon: The Awakening (2012) -3
Enchanted (2007; re-watch) -3.5
Men In Black II (2002, re-watch) -4
The Devil Wears Prada (2006) -4.5
Forget Paris (1995) -3.5
Anastasia (1997) -3.5
Two Weeks Notice (2002) -3.5
I Am Number Four (2011) -3.5
Bride Wars (2009) -4.5
The Time Traveler's Wife (2009) -4.5
The Wedding Date (2005) -3.5
Love & Other Drugs (2010) -3
Good Advice (2001) -4
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003) -4
A Cinderella Story (2004; re-watch) -4.5
Ghost of Girlfriends Past (2009) -5
I personally strongly suggest watching the last one stated here. If you liked Dickens' A Christmas Carol, there's a big possibility you'll like this movie as well. A Cinderella Story is one of my all time favorites, majorly because of that one line alone- "Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game". How to Lose a Guy.. is probably one of those movies that make me love Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey as actors all the more. Then Bride Wars, The Devil Wears Prada, The Time Traveler's Wife can be called pure treats! I really enjoyed most of the movies :D

For Blog Tours:
Whoooeww! Look at that list! I've already got copies of The Book Thief and Best Kept Secret as gifts from my brother but I don't mind :) Now I have to let go of all my napping time and beauty sleep to finish even the half of it! Moreover, I've got tours to attend for the whole month of February and March, some stretching to maybe April as well. But...I'm insanely hopeful :D:D
So how was your month? Did this start off as good for you too? Any bad experience? Reading issues? Have we got any books in common? Are you going 'green' that I've got a particular book and you didn't *evil grin*? Are you participating in any of the book tours mentioned above? I'll be more than glad to know :D
